5th PMB meeting Kufstein
The final preparation meeting before going into the test beds starting the evaluation of the functional prototype and the usable pilot systems took place in Kufstein, Austria the 05th and 06th February 2007. The main objective of this meeting was to define the testing procedure for each destination and to discuss open issues concerning the organization of the pilot and field tests.
On the first day the representatives of the recently joined project member "Tourismusverband Wildschönau" took the
opportunity to introduce their organization and gave an idea about their expectations from Aladdin. In order to
complete the introduction of the Wildschönau region our research partner "University of Applied Sciences Kufstein"
presented the results of a short destination analysis.
Afterwards the technology partners ISO and Yellowmap gave an overview about the implementation status and demonstrated
their specific application to the whole consortium.
Furthermore, general aspects concerning the evaluation like time and work plan as well as needed resources were
presented and discussed. At the end of the day IDT, the work package leader, presented D4.1 the "Evaluation
Guideline" which includes an explanation about the methodology of the usability tests as well as a description of the
organization and realisation of the pilot and field tests.
The second day was completely dedicated to the organization of pilot and field tests in each destination. Because of different test scenarios in each test bed different aspects had to be considered and discussed.
Unfortunately there was no time left to get to know the "Pearl of Tyrol", that's what the town of Kufstein is called, and its surroundings a bit better. One more reason to come back again.
